Team Talk Tuesday

Family Fuse is doing the work that needs to be done in our community. My name is Tamara Gamble and my role in that work is helping to organize and edit workshops, providing input on flow and design, and making sure everyone has an enriched learning experience! When I’m not working on perfecting workshops or on my career, I like to unwind by reading, hiking and painting to stay centred and maintain my optimistic outlook in life

I have a great passion for working with underserved families, which led me to obtain my Bachelor of Social Work from Laurentian University. While obtaining my degree, I was able to volunteer and tutor elementary students, where I got an inside look at the workings of the elementary education system. Following my degree, I worked as a fitness and health coach for older adults, as a child care provider, and as a resource specialist. All these experiences have helped shape me into the person I am today and have helped grow my passion for supporting the community.

Fortunately, I was able to connect with Family Fuse as they were building their programs/workshops, where I was thrilled to be invited onboard and help in crafting these events. My goal at Family Fuse is to be able to provide them with the support they need to keep offering their important services.
