Team Talk Tuesday
Hello everyone! My name is Inesse Mpoy and my role at Family Fuse is as the French Translator. I help translate the workshops and posters into French so that they can help reach a broader audience and include the Black francophone community in Family Fuse's workshops.
I am currently in my second and last year of Social Service Work Gerontology program at St. Clair College, where I was referred to Family Fuse as a placement option by my professor.
Family Fuse’s vision and mission to empower the Black community is what drew me to applying for this placement, as I believe their work will make a much-needed positive change in the Windsor-Essex community.
My passion lies in empowering and helping others to find their own passion, which i aim to explore in my career post-graduation along with increasing my professional knowledge and training.
In my free time, I like to relax and recharge by talking on the phone, listening to music, and sitting down to read with a nice book.
I look forward to helping Family Fuse build a strong connection in the community!
